Ich sehe was, was du nicht siehst
(I spy with my little eyes…)
Bachelor project
HS Manheim, Fakultät für Gestaltung
There are lot of eyes living on our planet, but every one of them, in pair or not, sees a different picture of our world. No image of the world is similar to another image, although they contain the same content. Personal influences and experiences shape our image of the world. At least how the world seems like at a certain point. It very interesting how many different point of views there are. So, how does the world look like, when you are not able to see properly? How does a world look like of a person with visual impairment? As a designer I love to look for new inspiration and especially to change my own view. My focus of the project is all about visual impairment. Starting with knowledge about the evolution of the eye to close the project with personal experiences of affected people. The world is full with different point of views, but which one of them is the right one? What the real image of the world?
My project shows, that our world it totally different to how we see it ourselves. There is so much more to see: We just have to open our eyes differently and be open to experience a new angle of vision.
