Police are reportedly investigating “The Boys” actor Malcolm Barrett on allegations of sexual assault.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that a woman contacted the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department during the last week of November and claimed that the famous actor had sexually assaulted her.

The unidentified woman claimed that she and Barrett had been friends for several months. She said she went out drinking with Barrett, then woke up in bed to allegedly find him touching her. She claimed the actor had sex with her against her will, according to TMZ.

The woman said the night had started off feeling pretty normal between her and the man she considered to be a friend. She said she headed out for drinks in Los Angeles with Barrett, and noted that she then attended his residence after their night out, according to TMZ. The woman said she continued drinking with Barrett at his place.

She claimed that at some point that night, she was sexually assaulted. The alleged victim, whose name and age remain sealed at this time, underwent a sexual assault kit to document physical evidence after allegedly realizing she had been violated, according to TMZ. No further information was provided about the circumstances leading up to the alleged assault.

Barrett has not issued public comment about the allegations made against him.

Barrett has also starred in “Average Joe.” He currently remains under investigation, but no arrests have been made at this time, according to TMZ.
