Legendary rock band AC/DC announced their 2025 North American “Power Up” tour on Instagram, Dec. 2.
The band will embark on their adventure in the spring for their first U.S. tour in nine years. The group will headline 13 stadiums as part of the tour, including Minneapolis, Pasadena, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Chicago and Cleveland. The “Power Up” North American tour tickets go on sale Dec. 6.

AC/DC will kick off the tour April 10 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, before making their way to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. There’s one Canadian tour stop slated for Vancouver, British Columbia, before the group heads to Las Vegas, Nevada. for a show at the Allegiant Stadium.
Tour stops also include Foxborough, Landover and Tampa.
This hot new tour is in support of the group’s 2020 “Power Up” album that included a European leg of the tour that proved to be wildly successful, according to Billboard.
The band is currently comprised of longtime singer Brian Johnson, founding member and lead guitarist Angus Young, as well as rhythm guitarist Stevie Young. Matt Laug is on the drums, having replaced longtime drummer Phil Rudd in 2023. Also in the band is former Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, who joined AC/DC in 2024, replacing longtime bassist Cliff Williams.

Moments after the band announced the tour, fans from across the globe flooded their comments section with excitement. Some fans in areas not included on the tour scheduled have already begun requesting the tour be extended to include their regions. AC/DC hailed from Australia and have long been considered one of rock music’s most successful and influential bands. Their list of accolades after decades in the industry include two Grammy Award wins, an iHeartRadio Music Award, an MTV Video Music Award nomination, a Juno Award nomination and two American Music Award nominations.
