Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley’s only child, faced persistent death threats, stalkers and extortion attempts before her death, according to an FBI document viewed exclusively by RadarOnline.
The 115-page FBI dossier indicates investigators probed multiple threats against the late singer’s daughter, with some linked to her marriage to Michael Jackson from 1994 to 1996, the outlet reported. An unidentified person claiming to be an Elvis Presley relative allegedly threatened violence against Presley and her children if they did not allow a “family conference.”
The unidentified suspect allegedly criticized Presley’s marriage, warning, “You should have never married Michael.”
The suspect also threatened her children, saying “It was never meant to be. Now it’s going to end with you losing what you value dearly… your kids,” according to the dossier.
The suspect allegedly had access to Presley’s personal contact information, including phone numbers for her residence in New York’s Trump Tower and numbers for Priscilla Presley’s home.
A source close to the situation described her response to the alleged harassment as proactive, noting she “surrounded herself with her own security rather than rely on Michael’s,” and said she sought refuge in a Hollywood Hills gated community.
The insider reportedly said she was “nervous as a kitten.”
The file noted that investigators ultimately found the suspect but concluded the individual “did not appear to be dangerous,” RadarOnline reported.
The alleged threats against Presley didn’t stop there, according to RadarOnline.
The file claimed that a “racist vulgar” man vowed in 1996 that “he would kill Presley-Jackson” when he returned to Los Angeles for a business trip after she refused gifts he had sent her, the outlet reported.
The FBI reportedly intervened, warning the suspect about potential legal consequences. He was “convinced to stop the harassment” and ultimately took no further action, according to the dossier.
Another incident in 2001 allegedly involved an extortion threat. A woman said “Lisa Marie is not the real daughter of Elvis Presley” and suggested another person was the true heir to the rock ‘n’ roll icon, the document claimed. The FBI investigated and located the woman, who denied the allegations, according to the files obtained by the outlet.
“The sad truth is that fame attracts nutcases, and in Lisa Marie’s case, they turned her life into a living hell,” a source told RadarOnline.

Presley enlisted the help of her daughter Riley Keough to complete a memoir about her life just a month before her death, the outlet reported. (RELATED: ‘Touch Me And Spank Me’: Lisa Marie Presley’s Memoir Unpacks Bombshell Sexual Assault Allegations)
“The last 10 years of her life had been so brutally hard that she was only able to look back on everything through that lens,” Keough said, according to the outlet.
“From Here to the Great Unknown” was released a year after Presley’s death in 2023 at the age of 54.
