I’ll admit it — I love Alec Baldwin.
He’s among the best, if not the best, living actors. His role as Jack Donaghy in “30 Rock” is one of the funniest in sitcom history. And there’s something romantically Hollywood about his belligerent temper. I just wish he could keep a lid on the politics.
“In my country,” Baldwin began to a gaggle of Italian press Monday, “it’s a very difficult time.” There’s nothing like an American ripping his own country to a room full of foreigners.
You won’t “learn from the news” in America because it’s a “business” he explained, echoing the warped lefty recrimination that the mainstream press actually aided Donald Trump in the 2024 election cycle. (Watch Daily Caller documentary ‘Cleaning Up Kamala’ here)
NEW: Alec Baldwin rips Americans as ignorant —
“Americans are really uninformed about reality.”
The solution to that problem, according to Alec, is his films.
Amazing. Leftists can’t help themselves. They keep producing American voter repellant.

“There’s a gap in information for Americans,” he continued. “Americans are very uninformed about reality, what’s really going on, with climate change, Ukraine, Israel — you name it, all the biggest topics in the world.”
There it is. He may as well have put on a pantsuit and some pearls and dropped the D-word.
First, I have to point out that as handsome as he still is in his late 60s, Baldwin looks terrible. He’s got some insomniac eye bags straight out of a David Lynch fever dream and is back to Jack-Season-2 weight. He’s clearly under a lot of stress — and who can blame him? He escaped a prison sentence by the skin of his teeth after the deadly incident on the “Rust” set, but not before going through a years long investigation and trial, in court as well as in the media. He’s reportedly afraid of going broke (if he hasn’t already), with a demanding influencer wife who turned out not to be who she said she was, and a stable full of young children to feed.
So Baldwin should just count his blessings: He’s a free man, his family stuck by him through it all and he’ll likely get to make a comeback. It’s not like he was racist, after all. Still, the whole Rust debacle warrants him a slice of humble pie and maybe sparing us all the moralizing for the rest of his (hopefully long) career.
