Near the end of the 21-14 defeat against the Los Angeles Rams, Hill was running for a first down when it appeared that his left knee took a blast from a helmet. While falling to the ground, his knee awkwardly bent backwards, and from there, he just stayed down until he was helped by athletic trainers.
Man… you hate to see this. Saints utilityman Taysom Hill has been carted off of the field after taking a helmet to the knee. Doesn’t look good. pic.twitter.com/eYh50q9JKG

Prior to calling for a cart to get Hill, his teammates and multiple Los Angeles players were kneeling while Hill’s leg was being tested by trainers. The New Orleans crowd overwhelmingly showed support for Hill, chanting his name while he was getting placed on the cart. Hill responded by waving to fans and was eventually taken off the field.
Prayers up for Taysom Hill as he is carted off the field 🙏 pic.twitter.com/oBkiy1yFRd

You hate to see this happen to a soldier of Jesus Christ, but that’s football for ya — get well soon, Taysom.
