NFL Hall-of-Famer Randy Moss revealed while appearing on ESPN’s “Sunday NFL Countdown” that he was battling a medical issue.
“I couldn’t miss the show. I wanted to be here with you guys. I feel great. But if you see me with these ‘Michigan turnover glasses’ that I have on, it’s not being disrespectful because I’m on television. It’s because I’m battling something internal,” Moss said during the broadcast.
He also shared video snippets of his medical update on his official Instagram account but didn’t provide details pertaining to the issue that seems to be affecting his eyes.

Moss, who turns 48 next year, is a six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro over the course of his 14-year career in the NFL.
He spoke calmly during the interview and asked his fans for prayers as he navigates his health battles.
“I need all the prayer warriors. God bless you all,” Moss said. “Thanks for the prayers. We’ll work through it.”
“People been talking about my eyes last week,” he said, as he looked straight into the camera and put on a pair of sunglasses and informed viewers that this was necessary for his eyes, and not part of a fashion statement he was attempting to make.
“Your boy gonna get through it. I got a great team of doctors,” Moss said.
Moss’s caption alongside his video message reads, “Go get ur checkups!!Prayer Warriors i need u🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾♥️” and noted that this was a “message for all the men.”
The famous NFL’er racked up 156 touchdown catches and more than 15,000 receiving yards over the course of his career. Moss was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018 in his first year of eligibility. (RELATED: Elton John Says He Lost Vision In His Right Eye)
